The short version: YachtBazar is a free listings directory. We do not own, inspect, verify, broker, or guarantee any boat, seller, price, or transaction. Every deal is strictly between you and the other person. Use the safety steps below, and never send money to someone you haven't met and a boat you haven't seen.

1. What YachtBazar is — and isn't

YachtBazar is an aggregator and classifieds directory for boats and yachts offered for sale by owner. Some listings are submitted directly by owners; others are collected from publicly available third-party sources. We are not a broker, dealer, agent, marina, escrow service, lender, surveyor, or party to any sale. We do not take possession of any vessel, hold funds, or facilitate payment. We earn no commission on any sale.

2. No verification, no warranty

We do not verify the identity of sellers, the accuracy of listings, the condition, title, ownership, registration, or seaworthiness of any boat, or whether a listing is genuine. Listings are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Prices, photos, descriptions, and availability may be wrong, outdated, or fraudulent.

3. You are responsible for your own due diligence

Before buying, you are solely responsible for independently verifying everything that matters to you, including but not limited to: the seller's identity and right to sell, the vessel's title and lien status, its condition, and its documentation. We strongly recommend you:

Inspect the boat in person — never buy a boat you (or a trusted representative) have not physically seen.
Get an independent marine survey on any vessel of meaningful value.
Verify the title and check for liens before paying anything.
Meet the seller in a safe, public location and confirm they own the boat.
Use a secure, traceable payment method or licensed escrow — get a signed bill of sale.

🚩 Avoiding scams — red flags that almost always mean fraud:

The seller refuses to talk by phone or meet in person, or is "out of the country / deployed / moving."
A price that's far too good for the boat.
Any request to wire money, send gift cards, crypto, or use a "shipping/escrow agent" they chose.
Pressure to pay a deposit quickly to "hold" the boat sight unseen.
Requests for payment before you've inspected the boat and verified the title.

If you see any of these, walk away — and use the "Flag as scam" button on the listing so we can review it.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YachtBazar, its owner, and its operators are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, fraud, or dispute arising out of or related to any listing, any communication or transaction between users, any third-party content, or your use of this site. This includes, without limitation, money lost in a bad or fraudulent deal, defects in a vessel, misrepresentation by a seller or buyer, or reliance on any information shown here. You use this site and contact sellers at your own risk. Our total liability for any claim is limited to USD $0, the amount you paid to use the site.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YachtBazar and its operators from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the site, your listings, or your dealings with other users.

6. Owner listings & conduct

If you post a listing, you confirm you are the owner of the vessel (not a broker, dealer, or agent), that you have the right to sell it, and that your listing is truthful and lawful. You are responsible for your own content. We may remove any listing at our discretion, including listings flagged by the community.

7. Third-party listings & takedowns

Listings aggregated from third-party sources remain the property of their original posters and link back to the source where applicable. If you are an owner or rights-holder and want a listing removed, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

8. Not professional advice

Nothing on YachtBazar is legal, financial, tax, or marine-survey advice. Consult qualified professionals before making a purchase.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
