For the past six summers, this 1987 43’ Egg Harbor powered by Cat 3208 diesels has been an incredible home away from home. She’s built like a tank, reliable, solid, and has never let us down. Her name, Koa Kai, means “sea warrior” in Hawaiian and that’s exactly what this boat is. She’s strong, dependable, and always ready to take on whatever the water throws at her. The interior truly feels like a floating living room, featuring leather upholstery, plush carpeting, a spacious salon with flat-screen TV and entertainment center, and a galley-down layout with bar-top seating. The full galley to port is fully equipped for extended stays on the water. Accommodations include a guest stateroom with over/under bunks and a centerline queen master. With the Onan generator, running AC or heat makes overnighting comfortable in any conditions. Up top, the bridge is equipped in with dual VHF radios, newer Raymarine radar, Garmin GPS/fishfinder, windlass, remote spotlight, and Fusion Audio throughout with three separate zones. Floodlights on all sides, a fully redone hardtop with four skylights, brand new polycarbonate Isinglass, and plenty of seating make this an ideal space for entertaining. Vessel was always fully wrapped every winter and stored on the hard at Sandwich Marina. The oil was changed every year. She has spent summers in Boston, Quincy, and New Bedford.
