Third owner of "Al-E-Cat" (original name) since 1995. This boat spent its first 10 years on the fresh water of Lake Michigan. Second owner sailed her in the Shrewsbury and Navesink rivers in New Jersey, and I have sailed her in the Barnegat Bay from the Metedekonk River at the northern end to points south as far as Barnegat lighthouse. The vast majority of my sails were day sails in the bay between the Seaside Bridge and the Mantoloking Bridge. On average I sailed her 8 to 10 times a season. She's a wonderful shallow water daysailer with a roomy cockpit and a sweet little cabin down below…
