The Ross 780 is a very unique racer/cruiser sailboat. With the keel up this boat draws 11” and is shallow enough to be moored legally on a fringe reef, like Kaneohe Bay. This boat is a Mark 1 that has been rebuilt over the years. The previous owner had a custom Jim Donovan cassette carbon fiber rudder built. This boat also has a lifting centerboard which reduces the depth from 6' to 1'- great for the sandbar. The other difference from most stock Ross 780s is the open transom on "Kava."
