A phone-photo shot list that helps a boat sell faster (no fancy camera needed)

Photos do most of the selling before a buyer ever calls. You don't need a real camera — a clean phone and good light handle it. Here's the shot list the YachtBazar team recommends working through before you post.
Shoot in the hour after sunrise or before sunset for soft light, and wipe the lens first. Clean and declutter the boat the way you'd stage a house.
• A full profile shot of the whole boat from the side, level, with nothing cut off — this is your lead photo. • Bow and stern three-quarter angles so the shape reads clearly. • The helm and dash, straight on. • The cockpit and seating from a corner so depth shows. • Cabin interior — open hatches and ports first so it isn't a dark cave. • The galley and head, tidy and dry. • The engine or engines, wiped down, with the cowling or hatch open. • Honest close-ups of any flaws. Showing the scratch builds more trust than hiding it.
Keep them horizontal, in focus, and skip heavy filters that hide the real color. Aim for a dozen or more solid frames; buyers scroll past listings with three blurry shots.
Last tip: lead with your single strongest photo, because that's the one deciding whether anyone clicks at all.
